

If you have an iPhone 8 or earlier, then hold down the home and lock button simultaneously. To check if you need an iOS update, open Settings and go to General, then select Software Update.

It’s also a good idea to se if your iPhone is up to date, as it outdated software can cause a variety of different problems. Scroll down to the Updates section and tap Update to the right of the Fitbit app if one is available. Sometimes your iPhone can’t find your Fitbit because you haven’t installed the most up-to-date version of the Fitbit app. To check for an app update, open the App Store and tap Account icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen. To make sure that the pairing process goes smoothly, make sure you aren’t connected to any other Bluetooth devices. This will take you to another page where you can tap the slider to enable or disable the Bluetooth connection, see devices you’re connected to, and see other devices in your range.
